Tin Hat Upgrades Complete

Upgrades at the SCT’s most visited hut, Tin Hat, are now complete. For your enjoyment, we’ve added:

• a second (and larger) composting toilet and fluffing shed
• two (2) new tent pads
• two (2) new picnic tables
• two (2) new food caches
• two (2) new rain barrels
• two (2) new benches with scenic views.

Thanks to Powell River Community Forest Ltd. for sponsorship of project, Let’s Talk Trash for use of their Zero Waste Station and to Powell River grocers: Mitchell Brothers, Save-On-Foods, Quality Foods, Townsite Fruit & Veg, The Chopping Block, & FreshCo for support in feeding the volunteers for this 6 day build.
