As pandemic restrictions in British Columbia begin to ease, there have been many questions regarding whether or not the huts are now open.

The answer is “no”. Restrictions on enclosed spaces is still in effect with no end date stated.

For this reason, the huts will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Picnic tables and outhouses remain accessible for use. We ask that hikers bring a tent to sleep in, while exploring the SCT. As we are unable to physically lock the huts, we ask that everyone does their part to please follow our request.
